Hey Saber. Do you want to spar? It'd be nice to keep up with my sword skills.

[He's also feeling a little nostalgic for some reason. Thinking back to when they were partners.

Eugh, he's thinking about being Shirou.]

[ A spar? She has to admit, she's surprised to hear this from Archer... though at the same time, the nostalgic feeling is mutual... even if from her perspective, it hasn't exactly been that long.

Looking back... every time they had crossed swords in the Grail War, it had been as enemies. The thought of a simple spar with him has her... intrigued? Excited? It's a complicated emotion that's oddly hard for her to describe. ]

You wish to spar? That is fine by me. I must keep up my own sword skills as well.

[ A simple answer, as usual. She's gotten better at swinging her sword without magical assistance, so Archer will be a good opponent for her. ]

[It's probably the fact he's been so domestic here that's made him think more like Shirou, which is kind of creepy and he hates it so please spar with him so he gets some adrenaline in his veins.]

Are you available now? I was thinking about heading out to train anyway.

I am. In that case, I shall join you.

[ Their last battle was when Caster had just been defeated, and after she made a contract with Rin, she had promptly gone from struggling against him to frankly steamrolling him.

Of course, now their levels were similar, so she was intrigued to see how well Archer would fare against her in comparison to her sparring matches with Shirou back home. ]

[Looking for Shirou all over the city is not how Rin thought this month would start, but oh boy, she and Saber have been looking everywhere from him! Then again, it's not like Shirou getting into trouble (or trouble finding him) and him needing help there would be anything new, but this is different.

By now it's clear, that Shirou's nowhere to be found and the stupid smart devices can't reach his number either... It's not like Rin hasn't seen this happening before because this happened A LOT back in Lunatia too whenever the world decided to randomly send some people back into their home worlds to -- whatever's waiting for them there.

Rin sits next to Saber on their bed in the new arrivals hotel room. She's trying to call to him one more time! Maybe that stupid idiot just dropped his phone or something? Nope, still no luck with reaching him with that thing. Tohsaka sighs. No use in denying the obvious facts.]

Seems like he really isn't in this world anymore.

[There's the New Year's Countdown and naturally Rin leads Saber to one of the highest places in the city to watch the upcoming show with her. It's the perfect place to see the fireworks, it's dark, not too far away from there and not even crowded considering there are other similar places too.

So, now they're waiting there with a few minutes left until midnight and Rin's staying next to her, looking cheerful and happy to be there even when they're standing around and doing nothing else. It's not like she'd rather be anywhere else right now, really.]

These better be the best fireworks I've ever seen.

[It's a challenge, Camelot, good luck with not losing it!! also maybe Shirou and Archer were around too but ignoring them for this thread.]

[ It's... hard to respond. Saber had definitely tried to find him, and she spared no effort in doing so... but still, he really was nowhere to be found. She wants to believe that he's still here... but Rin has pointed out the obvious fact that Shirou Emiya... isn't here. ]

Rin...

[ She glances up at Rin. How is she taking this? ]

Indeed...

[ Well, to be fair, it's not like Saber's seen a lot of fireworks... and if she has, it wouldn't compare much to the level these ones were at. In any case, while she looks out at the sight of this world and the fireworks... there's a warm feeling. It may not be her kingdom exactly, but seeing it in a state of celebration like this... it was nice.

On top of that, Rin was here! Spending time with Rin... well, it just made things better, and Saber couldn't exactly explain it. In any case, Saber looks happy... and even with only the light of fireworks, the smile on her face is clear to see. ]

We can walk the same way. I'll meet you in front of the inn.

[Archer was also interested to see how much this world had affected Saber's power levels and how he would fair against her. Odds were kind of against him, but he didn't mind.]

[ Archer would be a good way to gauge her current level. Back home, the times they had fought were all one-sided depending on the situation. When they first met, if not for Shirou's command spell, she would have cut him down for sure. At the church, he had easily handled her with little effort as she struggled just to remain in the world on barely any magical energy. Then, Rin formed a contract, and Archer never stood a chance.

In any case, she arrives at the Inn with all of her equipment shortly afterward to wait for him. ]

[It was not long after getting hit by Archer's arrow that Caster found herself wandering in a daze around town. She wasn't sure what to do with herself, filled with all the warm fuzzy feelings that she was.

Fortunately for her - and unfortunately for Saber - Caster spotted her as she was running some errands, and realised exactly what was missing! It wasn't like she had started hoarding a bunch of cute outfits for no reason, after all.]

Saber~ There you are. I've been looking all over for you!

[ Saber turned her head in surprise to Caster's appearance. Normally, her reaction would call for her to be wary... especially with Caster's tone of voice. Archer's cupid arrow, however, is still in effect. ]

Caster? Why would you be looking for me?

[ A welcoming reply... this can only end well. ]

[Caster was very happy that Saber wasn't responding with the usual suspicion - all the better for her!]

I brought you presents... you will come and try them on, won't you? You're going to look adorable all dressed up~!

[Run Saber, run whilst you still can!]

[ Oh no! She can't hear you over the cupid arrow magic! ]

P-Presents? W-Wait, dressed up? Adorable?

[ Her face flushes a bit. The compliments flatter her, but being dressed up by Caster? Even with the cupid arrow's effect, she's not sure... ]

That blush was precious! She knew she'd made the right decision in bothering Saber, if just for that adorable expression!]

Yes exactly! I brought some cute outfits that will look just perfect on you. Ahh~ I can't want to see you try them~

A-Are you certain? Surely there are better models for your liking...

[ In the first place, Saber being dressed up? Well, it certainly isn't the first time she's been made to try on multiple different outfits, but still, her?

In truth, the proper reaction that she should be having right now is immediately attempting to retreat, but because of the arrow for some unknown reason, she feels oddly fine with the thought. ]

Not at all! You're just so small and cute it has to be you~

[Caster looked almost offended Saber even had to ask!

She'll be offering her hands to Saber, now, just to see if she'll take them and come with her.]

I even made one of them myself for just the occasion.

[ Ah, flattery... a powerful weapon. Saber isn't sure if being considered 'small and cute' is a good thing for a Knight... but on the other hand, it's definitely worded as a compliment! And if Caster made some herself, surely there would be nothing lost if she entertained Caster's wishes. ]

W-Well, if you insist!

[ The compliments clearly work wonders, as she takes Caster's hand. ]

[Too late now Saber, there's no escape.]

Wonderful~ Well then, come with me.

[Caster beamed as Saber took her hand, a bright - but probably still slightly creepy - smile coming into her face. And with that, she led her to the one bedroom apartment where she was staying. Small though it was, it was a vast improvement compared to just sleeping in the library itself as she had been beforehand. She took off her cloak and hung it by the door, before stepping aside to let Saber in.

And, well...

As well as the small collection of cute clothes hanging up that were almost certainly not meant for Caster herself, the table was covered in two potion bottles and a few different craft projects she had been working on. They were all cute little figurines of Saber and Archer. All lovingly handcrafted and painted.

Caster had left her other personal belongings elsewhere around the room- two potion bottles were left in the kitchenette, and her staff was leaning against the wall. Most noticeably, the Golden Fleece itself was laid out carefully on her bed. Nothing like using your homeland's treasure to keep warm on these cold winter nights, right?]

Here we are~ Do make yourself comfortable. Can I get you some tea before we start??

Y-Yes, that would be appreciated...

[ Certainly, all of the outfits were definitely cute... though Saber wasn't sure if she would actually look good in them. She will, but she may not think so. ]

A-Are you sure you wish for me to wear all of these?

Of course! Oh but which one to try first...

[Whilst she's boiling up some water for the tea, Caster appeared to be looking over the different outfits. So many choices!

Perhaps it would be a relief to Saber that she hadn't got her a wedding dress this time.]

Ahh~ It just has to be this one

[...Or not, given she's just selecting a maid outfit from the pile.]

T-That one...?

[ Her face flushes. Her? Wearing that? The thought was oddly... embarrassing in Saber's eyes, but she's already here, so... ]

V-Very well... hold on...

[ Her face is flushed, but she tries to ignore that as she accepts the maid outfit and moves into the bathroom to change. ]

[Part of her couldn't believe Saber was going along with this plan, but at the same time she could hardly hold back the flutter of excitement in her chest. She couldn't wait to see how it would look on her!

In the meantime, she took a seat at the table, carefully moving her figurines aside whilst she laid out the cups of tea for them both.]

[ Silently, Saber comes out now dressed in the maid outfit. ]

Well...?

[ She couldn't possibly look as good as Caster thinks, right? She does. In any case, it's on now, and while Saber's face is still red... she's actually complied with what Caster has asked of her. ]

[Archer has both of his swords with him as he walks down from his room. He doesn't really have a place to put them he's kind of just carrying them around.]
